How much does Mektup cost?

Solo is $8 a month: 1 domain, 2 mailboxes, 100 sent emails a day and 5 GB of storage. Starter is $20 a month: 25 domains, unlimited mailboxes, 50,000 sent emails a month, 15 GB of storage and 5 team members. Enterprise, for agencies and larger set-ups, is quoted per account.

Is there a free plan or a trial?

No. Mektup is paid only. Paid accounts keep the shared mail servers free of spam, which protects the delivery of everyone's mail.

What counts as an email?

Each recipient of a message you send counts once (To, Cc and Bcc), whichever way it leaves: API, MCP, SMTP, a website form, a forward or an auto-reply. Received mail is not counted. Solo allows 100 a day and 10 an hour. Starter allows 50,000 a month, 2,000 a day, 300 an hour and 60 per five minutes.

What happens if I reach a limit?

The send is refused (API 429, SMTP 450) and nothing is queued. Incoming mail keeps arriving. If storage is full, new incoming mail is refused until you make room.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, from the dashboard. You keep access until the paid period ends. After that the account is read-only for 30 days, so you can save your mail, and then it is deleted.

How do extra team members work?

5 are included; each extra team member is $2 a month, added to your subscription.
