Invite a client and choose exactly which domains or mailboxes they can see. They sign in to the webmail dashboard and get their own mail and nothing else; your team keeps access to all of it. Your own staff join as team members, with access to every client or only the ones they work on. A client who wants to build on top can create an API key that carries the same scope as their login.
Every mailbox is a real mailbox with IMAP and SMTP, so clients keep Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail or the mail app on their phone. Their website's contact form can post straight into their inbox with Mektup forms, with no server code on the site.
